Synopsis
A king demands the sky to listen to him, but will the sky follow up with such a request?
A king named Hest lives in his kingdom. He would be in his high ceiling bedroom filled with thick and rare fabrics, trinkets engulfed with gold upon gems, and intricate designs covering his furniture.
“Give me sparkling apple cider,” King Hest says to his cup-bearer whenever he lays upon his king-sized bed. And the servant will do just that.
“I want to hear you recite poetry—and make it beautiful,” he tells his poet whenever King Hest sits upon his throne with his queen.
“Plant me green zinnias, rose bushes, and the tallest sunflowers,” he orders his gardener whenever King Hest takes walks upon his acres of land.
Later on, the King stands upon his patio that connects to his room. He looks out at the morning sky and says to himself, “I don’t like the color blue. I want the sky to be a high orange so delicate it’ll encourage my eyes to get some shuteye.”
A bluejay perches upon a nearby brick that was built to protrude outward with just enough space.
“Well hello King Hest. What a beautiful morning we’re having.”
“At this moment, it is not so beautiful creature who flies. And since you have wings—fly up and tell the sky to turn a high orange that’ll make me fall asleep,” King Hest demands.
The bluejay looks at the King sideways with its beak following. The bluejay replies, “acoocoocoocoocoo. That’s a good joke.”
“I am serious—do as I say, since I am your King.”
