Synopsis

Twelve happy, beverage-themed, poetic, and abstract quotes about lemonade, mocktails, smoothies, and more to read while you sip on ice cold lattes with whipped cream floating on top that are clothed with chocolate chip sprinkles. You lay calmly in a light pink bath bomb hot tub whose suds resemble that same whipped cream (but decorated with cherry-colored rose petals) as Claude Debussy’s Clair de lune plays like a soft echo chamber in the background.

We are sherbet and sorbet going in TARDIS cakes to travel back in Country Time Pink Lemonade so ‘80s diners can drink us ‘til their customers grow Buffalo Barbecue Chicken Wings on their Beef Back Ribs that’ll make them fly to cloud nine.

Our date is a Cupid’s Colada Mocktail flying from the horizon of a Sweetheart Sunrise Drink just to land on a Rosa Dream Come True flower—where it can sleep to imagine the Amaryllis Aphrodite offering us mozzarella cheese-filled hearts that are dipped in Oli+Ve’s Kiss of Gourmet Heart Hot Sauce.

My self-deprecation is sparkling water blowing out a text bubble that says “LOL” for me to poke fun at until it bursts out laughing.

I’m fruit smoothies planting orchards I sprout and harvest so I’ll never lose myself.

Our union is strawberries, cantaloupes, pineapples, pears, concord grapes, and eggplant fruit shakes in each of their own glass cups that were forged by glow-in-the-dark friendship necklaces. Each fruit has their taste in hobbies, but as we mix and mingle in a blender made by a company titled Nostalgia, we are individually poured into a Party Cup and become a rainbow smoothie that a macaw named Moments sip on while warbling Graduation (Friends Forever) by Vitamin C.

My skin was crackling crispy cookies that crumbled with the slightest touch from past relationships. But somehow, your hug dipped me in eggnog body creams. And when we both had let go, you turned me into a soft and chewy heart-shaped macaron with line-icing drawn on it which painted a memory of you and me line-dancing together.
